Military Gays

Over ten years ago, President Clinton signed a bill banning gays and lesbians from the military. Is this fair? Is this just? What is wrong with a gay military? Because a man is gay, he can’t serve in the military? I think this is just wrong. I believe that someone who is gay has ever right to serve our country as someone who is straight.

A gay in the military is just as competent as military man who is not gay. A man’s sexuality has nothing to do with whether or not he can do his job and defend our honor. President Clinton was wrong to assume that gays can’t be military men. I think military gays are the most honorable men in the country today.
